This traditional Canarian-style holiday house in the north of Gran Canaria is a jewel designed for rural tourism and hiking. Built on a 4.000 m2 estate, it is a 2-storey accommodation that has been decorated by a prestigious decorator.
It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, two of them with bath and one with shower. It is a country house with all the details, such as several living rooms with fireplaces, heating throughout the house, a wine cellar with a pool table and fruit trees for the use of the guests. It also has a fully equipped kitchen with all kinds of appliances such as oven, dishwasher, microwave, etc.
Two of the bedrooms have a double bed and the other has 2 single beds. The fourth bedroom is composed of a trundle bed and a bunk bed, ideal for children. Villa Cloty San Mateo, offers a beautiful private prefabricated swimming pool and sunbeds in its large garden.
It is perfect for large families and groups of friends, just 2 km from the village of San Mateo.
On Saturdays and Sundays there is a street market in the village of La Vega. You can enjoy hiking, mountain biking and royal roads. Without a doubt, this mountain house is a great choice to enjoy some well-deserved days of rest in the middle of nature and privacy, without giving up all the comforts.

The minummum number of rooms open will depend on the number of adults involved in the reservation. For example, 4 people = two rooms, 6 people = 3 bedrooms and so on. Should you wish to use all rooms with a lesser occupancy, please note that the price will be increased.
The minimum number of bedrooms opened will be determined by the base occupancy, in this case, a minimum of 2 bedrooms will be open for an occupancy of 1 to 3, if you want the 3rd, 4th and 5th bedroom open with a lesser occupancy, you will still have to book for the cooresponding occupancy or max cappacity which is 9-10 people.

The services included in the price are:
- Welcome and personal key handover until 8pm.
- A cot and highchair will be provided (on request) for children under 2 years of age.
Conditions
- This property is located in a residential area, therefore parties, events or any other activities that could disturb other guests or neighbours is strictly forbidden.
- Overcrowding the number of people hired is strictly prohibited. Except for previously authorized exceptions.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation. Smoking is only allowed on open terraces or balconies and we expect high care of furniture and grass.
- A deposit of 1.000€ is required to cover possible damages that may be caused. This deposit is fully refundable after departure and it is subject to a damage inspection, due to this, we encourage you to check if there is any previous damage at check in, and inform us accordingly to prevent misunderstandings.
- A dog is allowed with a surcharge of 100€ for the total duration of the stay.
- Late check in available and on request entails the following charges:
** Between 20:30 and 22:00 - 30€
** Between 22:00 and 00:00 - 50€
** Between 00:00 and 01:30 - 80€

Villa Cloty was an excellent base for our holiday in Gran Canaria. If you are looking for a quiet, country/mountain house it is an excellent choice, especially for a large group. It is extremely peaceful and makes for a relaxed stay, a place you can spend the whole day in, relaxing in the sun or shade, cooking outside in the barbecue and pizza oven etc.., being generous in size and well appointed. The billiards table was an unexpected bonus. The local town is a 10 min drive away and the mountain hiking destinations of the island are also close. The local rep, Sandra, was very friendly, helpful and responsive.

La ubicación es buena. Aunque está cerca de una carretera de paso entre dos localidades, es bastante silenciosa. La señora que nos recibió, Sandra, fue muy amable, nos enseñó toda la casa y nos explicó como funcionaba todo, y dónde estaban los utensilios de limpieza. Las habitaciones son cómodas. El salón de la planta superior es espacioso y tiene una mesa en la que se puede comer en familia. La planta baja es un poco oscura, pero es debido a la orientación de la misma, aunque la mesa es amplia y pueden comer 9 personas de forma cómoda. La calefacción funcionó muy bien y mantenía una temperatura agradable. Es una casa para disfrutar en familia o con amigos, tranquila y con zonas para caminar. Las vistas son buenas desde terraza y la zona exterior. Se llega con facilidad, aunque el último giro es de 90º en plena curva de la carretera y hay que tener cuidado por si vienen coches en sentido contrario. Pese a haber gallinas y gallos asilvestrados, no molestaban en absoluto durante el día y apenas se notaban que estaban en la propiedad. Todos disfrutamos de la experiencia y la zona.

Hemos estado en esta maravillosa Villa Cloty en esta semana Santa muy a gusto y relajados. Un sitio único, amplio, muy limpio y cuidado. Una atención espectacular por parte de la srta. Sandra, que nos explicó todo muy bien. Toda la casa tiene calefacción, cocina súper equipada, baños perfectos, camas muy confortables. Para recomendar sin duda.
